what i miss about dc

World War II Memorial (at night the fountains are beautiful)
We the Pizza (SO good. Because my apartment won the costume competition we got a pizza party from here)
Waterfront-SEU Metro Stop, into the new Safeway, into the Starbucks inside the Safeway. For coffee with a new acquaintance
Union Station (big, and marble... take the Red Line)
Trader Joe's (I know, they're everywhere, but you can't beat edamame hummus and chips. ever)
Toscana Cafe (amazing roasted eggplant and cucumber sandwich... thank you, Elizabeth!)
Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building (okay, I just walked by it...)
The National Zoo
The meandering streets around Lincoln Park with Mandie, and so much smiling
The White Tiger (also Indian... also very good)
YSC (Youth Services Center - a juvenile center where kids 14-17 wait for their trial)
The White House (Well, outside it in the freezing cold)
The rooftop deck that looks over that perfect view of the Capitol building.
The National Gallery of Art (with my roommate Rebecca... so fun!)
The National Botanic Garden Conservatory
The National Archives (it is hard to read the Constitution!)
The D6 bus
The International Spy Museum (Apparently I would make a great spy and they are going to recommend me for future missions!)
The mall (technically just a patch of grass near the mall, but pretty close!)
The Longworth House Office Building
The Lincoln Memorial
The National Gallery of Art (Modern Wing)
The Library of Congress
The Jefferson Memorial (lit at night... breathtaking)
The JFK Memorial Center for the Performing Arts
The Heritage Foundation (near Union Station, on Massachusetts Ave, I think)
The Hart Senate Office Building
The Dog Park in Old Town (Merry Christmas Garrett!)
The Dirksen Senate Office Building (one question: who was Dirksen?)
The Corner Bakery (why was my muffin burnt?)
